Sukanta Majumdar is known as an Indian Politican from Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP).
He was born on 29 December 1979 in Balurghat, West Bengal, India. In 2021 he is 41 years old. He was elected to the lower house of the Indian Parliament from Balurghat in West Bengal in the 2019 Indian elections as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Sukanta Majumdar has been a pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological parent of the BJP, till he joined the Bengal BJP in 2014.
Dr. Sukanta Majumdar was nominated as the Chief of West Bengal BJP on 20 2021. He was appointed as President of Bharatiya Janata Party, West Bengal on 20 September 2021. The ex-president of WestBengal BJP was Dilip Ghosh.
