Shantanu Maheshwari was born on 7 March 1991 in Kolkata, India. At present, in 2022, his age is 31 years. He started his studies in Kolkata itself. He joined The Park English School, Kolkata, and St. Joseph's College, Kolkata After finishing his college studies, he went to Mumbai for his further studies. In Mumbai, he attended H.R. College of Commerce and Economics and was also a part of the Street Soul Dance Crew [SSDC] from his college. Mostly he loves to do Popping and (Liquid) Waving.

At the age of 8 Maheshwari participate in the dance reality show kay Masti kay Dhoom. Shantanu started his career in Dil Dosti Dance Which used to come on Channel V. His

chemistry with co-star Vrushika Mehta earned him widespread adulation as they went on to win the third spot as the Hottest Indian TV Jodi by the UK-based newspaper Eastern Eye. In the year 2014, the pairs earn the Indian television award for the onscreen couple.

In 2015 He returned to the small screen with Dil Dosti Dance co-star Vrushika Mehta in an

episodic of Bindass Yeh Hai Aashiqui, playing a verbally-challenged law student after that he

also debut in Yeh Hai Aashiqui on the Bindaas channel. In world dance history the crew called Desi hoppers become the 1st crew who represent Indian and win the title Shantanu is also a
